Verify email addresses during contact import

You can now verify email addresses at the same time you import contacts into EveryCatch. This helps you catch invalid addresses before you send emails, keep new lists clean from the start, and protect your sender reputation without running a separate verification process.

What changed

• Verify during import: On the final step of the Contact Import workflow, you will see a new checkbox that enables email verification for the contacts in that import.
• Track progress in Bulk Actions: Once the import begins, you can follow the email verification status in Bulk Actions, where it will move from Processing to Completed.

Why it matters

• Better deliverability: Identify invalid email addresses before you send campaigns or automations.
• Cleaner lists: Keep your contact database healthy from the moment new contacts are added.
• One simple workflow: Import and verify in a single combined step, which reduces manual work and context switching.

How to use it

1. In EveryCatch, go to Contacts > Import Contacts and configure your import as you normally would.
2. On the final step of the import setup, select the email verification option.
3. Start the import to begin importing and verifying in one go.
4. Open Bulk Actions and monitor the import until its status shows as Completed.

Acting on the results

• Use the Email Verification Status filter on the Contacts page to quickly view which contacts have valid or invalid email addresses.
• Create Smart Lists to organize valid and invalid contacts into separate views so you can decide how to handle each group, such as excluding invalid addresses from future sends.
