Building forms, surveys and quizzes in EveryCatch is now smarter, smoother and easier for you.
EveryCatch now includes recommendations and error detection, a new experience that helps you quickly find and fix issues, avoid common setup mistakes and fine-tune your forms, surveys and quizzes before you publish them.
You no longer have to guess what went wrong or contact support for every configuration issue. The editor now points out what needs your attention and helps you sort it out step by step.
What changed
1. Error detection – find it, fix it, move on
Previously, if something was misconfigured in a form, survey or quiz, it could be hard to tell which field was causing the error or what exactly needed to change. That often meant trial and error or opening support tickets. EveryCatch now highlights those issues clearly so you can resolve them yourself in a few clicks.
How error detection works
- Automatic error detection: When you try to save a form, survey or quiz, EveryCatch automatically scans for validation errors and shows them in a dedicated modal and next to the related field.
- Clear error breakdown: Each issue clearly points to the exact field involved and explains what is wrong so you know what to change.
- Click to jump: Click an error in the list to move straight to the field that needs your attention.
- Real-time error resolution: As soon as you fix an issue, EveryCatch detects the change and strikes that error off the list automatically. You do not need to track anything manually.
What types of errors are covered
The new experience focuses on existing validation errors related to:
- Custom field creation
- Duplicate custom fields
- Form, survey and quiz elements
This update does not add stricter validation rules. It makes your current validation errors clearer and easier to locate and resolve so you can handle them on your own without waiting on support.
2. Recommendations – smart suggestions for better forms
If you have ever published a form and later noticed that a call-to-action button still pointed to a placeholder URL or that a payment element was left in test mode, recommendations are designed to catch these details before they go live.
With recommendations, EveryCatch helps you spot common configuration gaps and find chances to improve your forms, surveys and quizzes while you are building or reviewing them.
Examples of recommendations you will see
- Placeholder URLs: Get a reminder to replace placeholder URLs like example.com with your real destination URLs before you publish.
- Custom field placeholder names: Get an alert when a new custom field still has a generic placeholder name so you can rename it and keep your data organized.
- Payment mode alerts: See a warning when your Sell Products element is still set to test mode instead of live mode, so you do not miss payments.
- Bot protection: Receive a suggestion to enable bot protection to reduce spam and unwanted submissions.
These in-context suggestions help you catch missed configurations and make your forms, surveys and quizzes more dependable for actual respondents.
3. Insights – understand your form configuration at a glance
Along with recommendations, EveryCatch now includes an Insights tab that gives you a quick summary of how a form, survey or quiz is set up.
You can now quickly see:
- Conditional logic: How many conditional logic rules are in use.
- Custom fields: How many custom fields are included.
- Auto responder: Whether automated responses are turned on.
- Email notifications: Whether email notifications are enabled.
- Payment configuration: Whether the payment element is currently in test mode or live mode.
All of the most important configuration details are grouped in one place so you can review them without clicking through every element.
How it works
- Build: Create or edit your form, survey or quiz as you normally would in EveryCatch.
- Detect: When you save, any existing validation errors are automatically shown in a modal.
- Go to and resolve: Click an error to move directly to the affected field, fix the issue and watch it get crossed off the list as soon as it is resolved.
- Optimize: Open the recommendations panel to see common issues and suggested improvements before you publish.
- Review Insights: Use the Insights tab to quickly understand the current configuration and key settings before you share your form, survey or quiz.
Key highlights
- Faster troubleshooting: See exactly what is wrong and where it is, without searching through every field.
- Self-service error resolution: Handle validation errors yourself, which reduces time spent going back and forth with support.
- Less friction, more building: Spend your time designing strong forms, surveys and quizzes instead of debugging configuration issues.
- Proactive recommendations: Catch frequent setup mistakes before they affect your respondents or your data.
- Better visibility: Use Insights to understand important configuration details at a glance.
- Works across old and new forms: The experience is available for both existing and newly created forms, surveys and quizzes in EveryCatch.
Notes
- Availability: Available for both existing and new forms, surveys and quizzes in your EveryCatch account.
- Recommendations toggle: You can enable or disable recommendations from the Settings section if you prefer a quieter editing view.
- Error coverage: Error detection currently focuses on existing validation errors that involve custom field creation, duplicate fields and form, survey or quiz elements.
- No new validations: This update changes how existing errors are surfaced and resolved. It does not add new validation rules on top of what you already have.
Why this matters
This update makes forms, surveys and quizzes in EveryCatch easier to manage on your own. With clear error detection, helpful recommendations and a dedicated Insights tab, you can build with confidence, avoid common setup issues and resolve problems faster without needing extra assistance. That means fewer errors, fewer support requests and more reliable forms for you and your respondents.
