Social planner: post sync for LinkedIn & TikTok (beta)

This feature is currently available in beta for EveryCatch Social Planner users.

EveryCatch now lets you use post sync for LinkedIn and TikTok (beta), so your posts that are already live on those platforms can automatically import into Social Planner.

When you turn this on, your recent posts sync into Social Planner. You can review past content, keep an eye on performance, and manage your published and scheduled posts together in a single view.

What changed

LinkedIn post sync (beta)

With LinkedIn post sync in EveryCatch, you can:

• View your historical LinkedIn posts right next to upcoming scheduled content
• Track engagement metrics such as reactions, comments, and shares on those posts
• Manage your LinkedIn publishing activity from one unified calendar in Social Planner

TikTok post sync (beta)

With TikTok post sync, you can now:

• Import your published TikTok videos into Social Planner automatically
• See your TikTok publishing history in one place alongside other content
• Track likes, comments, shares, and views on synced TikTok posts
• Manage TikTok content alongside your other connected social accounts in EveryCatch
• Benefit from an automatic daily insight refresh for your TikTok analytics

Engagement metrics for LinkedIn and TikTok are updated every 24 hours so your analytics stay current while still respecting each platform's API limits.

How to use this feature

• In EveryCatch, go to Marketing → Social Planner → Settings
• Connect your LinkedIn page or TikTok account
• Toggle on post sync for the accounts you want to import from

• Give the initial sync time to complete. The number of posts and platform limits can affect how long this takes.
• Once the sync finishes, open Social Planner to see your imported posts and their performance metrics in the calendar and analytics views.

• Centralize your already-published content across more social platforms inside EveryCatch
• Access historical posts without having to copy or upload them manually
• Monitor engagement from a single, unified dashboard instead of multiple tools
• Make reporting easier for agencies and in-house teams by pulling data from one place

Notes

LinkedIn

• This beta supports LinkedIn organization pages only.
• Personal LinkedIn profiles are not supported due to API limitations.
• Reactions, comments, and shares are refreshed once every 24 hours.
• PDF, event, poll, and article posts sync into Social Planner, but they do not support in-app previews.
• Mentions, hashtag highlighting, and tagged-user details are unavailable because of LinkedIn API limitations.
• Deleted LinkedIn posts continue to appear in Social Planner after deletion, since sync only moves data from LinkedIn into Social Planner (one-way sync).

TikTok

• This beta supports both TikTok personal and business accounts.
• Likes, comments, shares, and views are refreshed once every 24 hours.
• Videos play through TikTok's hosted video player inside Social Planner.
• Synced TikTok videos cannot be cloned into new posts due to TikTok API restrictions.
• Location tags, tagged users, and music details are not provided by the TikTok API and do not appear in Social Planner.
• Deleted TikTok posts continue to appear in Social Planner after deletion, since sync only moves data from TikTok into Social Planner (one-way sync).
