Phase 2: password compliance rollout with new in-app banners

Overview

EveryCatch is continuing to roll out updated password security standards. This update introduces new banners inside the platform that help you see if your current password meets the latest requirements and guide you to update it if needed.

What changed

Persistent notification banner

EveryCatch now shows a persistent notification banner across the app for existing users whose passwords do not yet meet the new security requirements. If you are affected, you will see a banner asking you to update your password before September 9, 2026. When you click the "Update password" button in the banner, you will go straight to the My profile page where you can change your password to a compliant one.

Inline banner on my profile

On the My profile page, EveryCatch now shows an inline information strip that reminds you to update your password according to the new guidelines. This strip will stay visible until September 9, 2026 for any user whose password is still out of compliance.
