Introducing email action in company and custom object workflows

July 29, 2026

Overview

Email actions are now available in EveryCatch company workflows and custom object workflows, so you can automate emails directly from a wider range of your processes.

What changed

Workflow email actions were previously only available in contact-based workflows. With this update, EveryCatch now lets you send automated emails directly from workflows built on:

  • Company workflows
  • Any custom object workflows

Key benefits

  • Automate emails from company and custom object workflows without first moving data into separate contact workflows.
  • Reach associated contacts from a company or custom object record without extra workflow steps or manual triggers.
  • Support a wider range of custom business processes and use cases that start from companies or custom objects.

How it works

  • Turn it on in Labs: go to Settings > Labs and enable “Email Action in Company & Custom Object Workflows”.
  • Open a company workflow or a custom object workflow where you want to send emails.
  • Click Add action and search for "Send Email".
  • Select the association label(s) that identify which associated contacts should receive the email.

  • In custom object workflows, choose whether to send to the earliest associated contact, the most recently associated contact, or all associated contacts that match your selected labels.
  • Add your email subject line and email content as you normally would in a workflow email action.
  • Save and publish your workflow to start sending emails from company and custom object triggers.

Note

  • Emails are sent using the domain you have configured for bulk email in your EveryCatch account.
  • You can select up to 10 association labels in a single email action.
  • If a contact matches more than one of the selected association labels, they will still receive only one email from that action.
