Dashboards and custom reports: refreshed UI for a more consistent experience
What changed
- Dashboards now use a more refined layout. The header, navigation, breadcrumbs, side panel, and modals all follow a unified visual style so pages feel visually aligned as you move between them.
- Every chart and widget type (numeric, bar, donut, line, table, funnel, and more) now uses the same loading and error states, along with updated card styling, so each component behaves and appears in a consistent way.
- Advanced filters, the quick filter panel, and the datepicker now share the same visual language across dashboards and reports, which makes filters easier to recognize and work with wherever you are.
- The custom metric builder, including the formula builder and filter panel, now has a cleaner, more consistent layout so you can rely on the same patterns each time you create or adjust a metric.
- The report builder, report list, schedule page, and clone/duplicate flows are now visually aligned from end to end, so moving between creating, managing, and scheduling reports feels more straightforward.
- Widget AI summary, Google Ads, Facebook, and Google Analytics widgets are all included in this visual refresh, so they match the rest of your dashboards and reports.
How it works
- Go to Settings → Labs in your EveryCatch account and enable "Dashboard and custom reporting – UI consistency update" to turn on the refreshed experience.
- Once enabled, the updated UI will load automatically whenever you open Dashboards or Custom Reports, without any extra setup on your side.
- All your existing dashboards, reports, widgets, filters, and custom metrics stay exactly the same in terms of configuration and data. Only the appearance and layout are updated.
- If you spot anything that looks out of place, use the in-product feedback button to share what you are seeing with the team.
Why it matters
- You get a consistent experience across all of Dashboards and Custom Reports, so pages feel familiar as you move around and everything follows the same visual system.
- Visual details such as spacing, typography, dropdowns, and tooltips are now aligned across the interface, which reduces distracting differences from one page to another.
- This refresh gives EveryCatch a stronger foundation for future updates in Dashboards and Reporting, which helps new features roll out faster and stay visually aligned.
Notes
- This is a UI consistency update only, and no functionality, data, or workflows have changed. If you have added custom CSS styling, you may need to adjust it to match the new components. We recommend reviewing your dashboard styles to confirm everything still displays as you expect.
- You may notice minor spacing differences in some places. These are expected as part of aligning components to the new visual system.
