Communities now inside the unified EveryCatch client portal
Communities now lives directly inside the unified EveryCatch client portal and GoKollab, so members and admins can use everything in one place with a faster, smoother experience.
You will now see Communities alongside Courses, Dashboard, Billing, Shared Files, Affiliates, and Account Settings inside a single branded portal, without extra page loads or switching between separate areas.
What changed
A unified communities and courses experience
Your members can now move easily between community discussions and courses while staying inside the same EveryCatch portal view.
- Courses open directly in the Learning tab, so members do not have to open the legacy app in a new window.
- Members automatically return to the exact lesson where they left off last time.
- Course progress is kept when members switch between lessons and community discussions.
- Communities, Courses, Dashboard, and Billing now share a single, consistent top bar for getting around the portal.
- Page changes are faster and smoother, which makes the whole experience feel more responsive.
A reimagined discussion experience
The discussion feed has been updated so members can find, read, and join conversations more easily.
- Comments, replies, and attachments now appear directly in the main feed, so members can follow a conversation without opening extra views.
- Updated post and comment editors provide a cleaner, more intuitive place to write and format content.
- Members can react to posts and comments with six different reactions to share quick feedback.
- Post nudges can surface timely content and encourage participation when engagement is low.
- Unified search lets members search posts, comments, and people from a single search bar.
- User profiles now have a clearer layout, plus clickable group details so you can see how someone is involved in the community.
- Profile popovers provide a quick snapshot of a member when you hover or click, without leaving the current page.
- A simplified flow for community events makes it easier to create and manage upcoming sessions.
More control for community admins
As an admin, you can now take care of more moderation tasks directly from the discussion feed by using the improved three-dot menu on each post.
Available actions include
- Pin or unpin posts to highlight key announcements or resources.
- Move posts between channels to keep discussions organized.
- Disable comments when you want a post to be read-only.
- Ban users from the community when needed for safety and compliance.
- Download video or audio recordings that were shared in posts.
- Report or delete posts that break community guidelines.
- Use additional post-level moderation tools accessible from the same menu.
Improved community settings
Community settings are now grouped into clearer sections, so you can configure each group more quickly and keep everything organized.
Admins can now more easily
- Update community names, details, and descriptions so members know what each space is for.
- Choose whether a group is public or private and adjust access accordingly.
- Control who can invite new members into the community.
- Require members to complete a profile before joining discussions, if you prefer.
- Set up branding elements and membership questions during onboarding.
- Pick from predefined community themes to match your brand.
- Fine-tune the visual appearance of the community to align with your overall portal experience.
How to enable the new experience
Where to go in your account
EveryCatch app → client portal dashboard
In the client portal dashboard, select Enable to turn on the new communities experience for your workspace.
You do not need to run a migration. All existing community content, members, courses, and settings are carried over automatically into the new interface.
