Ask AI in mobile app can now read your files
Ask AI in the EveryCatch mobile app now accepts images and documents directly in the chat composer. You can snap a photo, attach a PDF, or choose a file from your Media Library, then ask the assistant about it in plain language.
The challenge
Often you already have the information stored in a file. It might be a screenshot of a broken funnel, a CSV with last month’s leads, or a signed contract PDF.
Previously, Ask AI could only work with what you typed into the chat, even when the key details were captured in those files.
Solution: attachments in Ask AI
You can now tap the paperclip icon in the composer and pick from four sources: Camera, Gallery, Files, or your Media Library. Your file uploads in the background while you keep typing. It is then attached to your next message as a compact chip that Ask AI can read and analyze.
How this helps your work
Save time: Avoid retyping information that is already visible in a screenshot or document. Attach the file and ask your question directly.
Stay fully mobile: Handle document-based questions from your phone, without switching to a laptop.
Get more specific answers: The assistant can read the actual content from your files, so the responses align better with your data and context.
Reuse existing content: Pull files straight from your Media Library. Items that are already uploaded attach instantly, so you do not need to upload them again.
How to get started
- Navigate: Open Ask AI from your app's navigation, then start a new chat or open an existing one.
- Activate: Tap the paperclip in the composer and choose Camera, Gallery, Files, or Media Library.
- Send: Watch the attachment chip progress from Uploading… to ready, type your question, and tap send.
Tip: If you are not sure what to ask yet, you can send the file on its own. Ask AI will analyze it and you can then follow up with more specific questions.
What's next?
EveryCatch is continuing to expand what Ask AI can read. On the roadmap are larger document limits, additional file types (such as spreadsheets, plain text, and Markdown), and in-app previews so you can review an attachment without leaving the chat. Attachment history and re-use across sessions are also being explored.
